Kia Ora and welcome to the Whanganui Community Foundation.

Our Trustees, in conjunction with the community have developed our purpose statement.

Our role is to help community organisations to carry out charitable, educational, cultural, philanthropic and recreation activities in the wider Whanganui area.  We do this by making grants, providing professional development opportunities for community organisations and providing advisory services and other community development activities.

We will launch our 5 10 5 10 campaign on Saturday 31st March from 11am to 2 pm at Majestic Square.  Come along for entertainment, information and even a few prizes.  5 10 5 10 is designed to encourage people to become more involved in their communities.
